since 1972. He has spent every summer since then in Ocean Beach with his
wife Jayne and daughter Danielle. In 1976 Larry opened Fire Island's
premiere fashion boutique, A Summer Place Ltd. in Ocean Beach and ran it
until 1998. He is well
versed in all things Fire Island and extremely knowledgeable about Fire Island
Real Estate.

As a new summer season is around the
corner, we are grateful for the mild winter that has allowed people to come
out in droves to select their own Fire Island Home. It has been a record year
for rentals while sales have slowed slightly fueled by economic conditions
that have been better. This does, however, present a once in a lifetime
opportunity for buyers who are finding lower prices and low interest rates at
the same time. Feel free to purchase any time but keep the following in mind
when renting on Fire Island.
Seasonal rentals
are sought after by most in January and February while monthly rentals
generally take place in March and April. Weekly and Biweekly rentals have the
best selection from May to August. Stay ahead of the curve to assure yourself
the best selection. Our web site is updated on a daily basis so you can count
on the most current information available. We welcome you to our island
paradise and hope you have the same great time that those before you have had.
Our agents live on Fire Island and have vehicles available in the Fall,
Winter, and Spring to pick you up at Field 5 or at the train station and drive
you across the beach if ferry service is not convenient. Our professional and
